Attorney Julia Huxman Ronnebaum has dedicated her career to fighting for victims harmed by the wrongful acts of others. As a former Assistant District Attorney from the Kansas City area, Julia spent four years representing the State of Kansas as a criminal prosecutor. During her time at the DA’s office, she served as lead attorney on multiple jury trials, and managed a large criminal caseload covering a variety of areas, including violent crimes, financial crimes, and elder abuse.
Upon moving to Philadelphia in the fall of 2018, Julia joined Wieand Law Firm as an associate, where she handles a wide variety of personal injury cases including nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, car accidents, truck accidents, and premises liability.
Julia’s extensive court room experience makes her an aggressive and creative trial attorney. She has been recognized by Judges as a top trial attorney, and by crime victims as going above and beyond to keep them informed about the case. Julia will relentlessly fight for her clients just as she did for crime victims: going the extra mile in all stages of litigation.
Julia earned a law degree at the University of Kansas School of Law in Lawrence, Kansas, and remains a loyal Jayhawk fan. While in law school, she received the Payne & Jones award for oral advocacy, two academic achievement awards, and tried two cases to verdict as an intern with the Johnson County, Kansas, District Attorney’s office.
Julia is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, Kansas, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
